About Chill & Paws, Gorleston’s Qualified Dog Walking Team
20+ years of experience. Happy dogs, every walk.
Meet Suzi, Founder of Chill & Paws
Hi, I’m Suzi. Working with animals isn’t just my job; it’s been my career for over 20 years.
In that time, I’ve worked across animal rescue, doggy daycare, dog grooming, professional dog walking and canine behaviour, giving me hands-on experience with dogs of every personality, background and need, from bouncy adolescents to worried rescues.
I also hold an MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour from the University of Lincoln, and if I’m honest, I’m one of those slightly odd people who genuinely enjoys studying.
Whether it’s seminars, the latest research or continuing professional development, I’m always looking for ways to improve the care I provide. Our understanding of dogs is always evolving, and I believe my clients deserve someone who keeps learning alongside it.
When I’m not out walking, you’ll usually find me with my own three dogs, who remind me every single day why I chose this career. They keep me grounded, keep me learning and, more often than not, keep me laughing.
Ask my friends and family and they’ll tell you I’m just a little bit dog obsessed – and they’re absolutely right. I’m the sort of person who lets the dogs take over the sofa, happily shares the bed, celebrates birthdays and worries when they’re under the weather.
To me, dogs aren’t just pets. They’re family. And that’s exactly how I treat every dog in my care.
Chill & Paws was created with one simple goal: to provide the kind of care I’d want for my own dogs – professional, reliable, full of fun and centred on making every dog’s day the best it can be.
Because at the end of the day, if your dog comes home muddy, tired and fast asleep, we’ve probably had a brilliant day together.

Meet the team

Milly
Milly has been with us for nearly two years, and her punctuality and organisation put the rest of us to shame. She shares her home with two dogs and two bunnies, and is currently studying for a degree in Zoology. Calm, reliable and always up for an adventure, she makes sure every dog in her care has a safe, enriching and enjoyable walk.

Megan
Megan joined Chill & Paws in November 2024 and has always had a passion for animals. She shares her life with Rogue the horse and two dachshunds, Ernie and Reggie. Recently returning to college to complete her Level 2 in Animal Care, Megan is turning that lifelong passion into a career, with even more qualifications planned.
Happy dog, happy life!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
“I honestly can’t recommend Chill & Paws Dog Walking enough!
Suzi and the whole team are absolutely amazing.
They’re so accommodating, reliable, and always willing to help, even when I need something at the last minute. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Hunter is in such caring and capable hands.
A special mention has to go to Meg, who is Hunter’s dedicated team member. She has been absolutely fantastic, and over the last few months Hunter has built such a lovely bond with her. It’s so reassuring to know he’s genuinely excited to see her and enjoys every visit.
The care, communication, and professionalism from the entire team have been outstanding from day one. I couldn’t ask for better people to look after Hunter. 10,000% the best, and without a doubt we’ll be with Chill & Paws for years to come.
Forever customers!”
How we care for your dog
Every dog who joins Chill & Paws is treated as an individual, with their own personality, routine, likes, dislikes and little quirks.
We take time to get to know each one properly, starting with a free meet-and-greet in your home. We learn what makes them tick, what makes them nervous and what makes their tail go. That knowledge shapes everything: which friends they walk with, which locations suit them and how we handle their wobblier days.
And because we’re a small team with trusted backup arrangements in place, your dog’s routine stays consistent — even when the unexpected happens.
About Chill & Paws FAQ’s
Who will actually be walking my dog?
One of our small, trusted team so either Suzi, Milly or Megan. We keep the same walker with the same dogs wherever possible, so your dog always sees a familiar face.
What qualifications do you have?
Suzi holds an MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour from the University of Lincoln alongside 20+ years of professional experience across rescue, daycare, grooming and behaviour. The team is Ofqual Level 3 canine first aid trained and fully insured.
Why does being behaviour-qualified matter for dog walking?
Because group walks are only as good as the matching. Understanding canine body language means we can spot when dogs are comfortable, when they’re not, and pair friendship groups that genuinely work, creating safer walks and more confident dogs.
Will you meet my dog before any walks happen?
Always. Every new client starts with a free meet and greet at home, so we can get to know your dog in the place they feel safest.
Which areas are you based in?
We’re based in Gorleston and care for dogs across Bradwell, Belton, Lound, Hopton, Corton, Gunton and Lowestoft.
